He is drawn to lead again and should be competitive. HEAVEN ATTRACTS (1) began fast and attempted to lead throughout when second (3.5m) behind Smooth Deal last outing. That was her best run since returning from Tasmania and she should give a forward showing against this line up. LAVAUGHN (4) pushed forward out three horses wide, moved up without cover and eventually found the lead at the bell when she pulled hard and ran a handy fourth at Charlton. He should be better from that run and this is an easier assignment so he should prove very hard to beat. He was held up for a run at a vital stage from four back on the markers and ran home strongly out wide late. OVERVIEW: HURRICANE HALL (6) was resuming since August and was competing against the Metropolitan class when a big third at Cranbourne last week. SELECTIONS: MALAKIE (7), AZTERIAN (4), THE KEW LEGEND (3), HOLDONTIGHT (5) She led throughout at Yarra Valley then followed with a second (head) from behind the leader at Ballarat so she is sure to be strongly fancied.ĮARLY SPEED: 5 (likely early leader), 1,2,3 HOLDONTIGHT (5) is a brilliant beginner and is the likely early leader. He is a speedy pacer and is drawn to run another good race.
THE KEW LEGEND (3) was restrained at the start and settled down in last position, moved into the one out and one back trail with 500m remaining and launched a winning claim on the home turn when he scored at Cobram. He is versatile and looms as one of the leading chances again. AZTERIAN (4) continues to race consistently and ran a game second at Melton last week after being inconvenienced at the start and making a long run out three horses wide from the 700m mark. She was extremely impressive when she won at Terang on November 09 so she is worth thought again. She restrained at the start, settled midfield in the running lane and sprinted quickly out three horses wide from the 400m to hit the lead on the home turn. OVERVIEW: MALAKIE ( 7) bounced back into winning form when she scored in a slick mile rate of 1.55.3 at Cobram.

OZZY MAN REVIEWS MISS POLE DANCE AUSTRALIA TRIAL
SON OF ZODIAC (3) is racing consistently against similar opposition and has claims along with LITTLE WEDNESDAY (8), which is resuming but was doing her best work at the end when second at her latest trial performance. She is usually competitive against this grade and should give a forward showing. She was in the one out and one back trail for the majority of the journey and ran a fair race for fourth at Cobram last outing. KEAYANG REMI (5) was headed off from barrier one, settled three back on the markers and was dragged back to last by the tiring leader so she had no luck whatsoever when seventh at Maryborough. She settled down last from an awkward draw and failed to run on as expected when sixth at Cobram but the last half was a slick 56.7 seconds so she is worth another chance. SKY FULL OF STARS (9) performed nicely at the trials prior to galloping away at her Australian debut and running a good race for third at Yarra Valley. He ran a game second behind Shania Tee in reasonable time at his latest Melton trial performance and is drawn to be prominent throughout. OVERVIEW: HEART OF OAKLANDS (2) is a Vince Vallelonga trained gelding, which makes his debut and strikes a very suitable assignment. SELECTIONS: OUR SAFARI SUN (8), AUNTY ETHAL (5), CHRISKEN KIOSK (2), STAY FOCUSED (7)
He is widely drawn but has the speed to be in the finish. MOREFLINGTHANBLING (6) was checked at the 400m and lost his chance last week.
He is a much better than that run suggests and he is worth another chance. STAY FOCUSED (7) was resuming since April when he settled down in midfield and failed to run on at Warragul. CHRISKEN KIOSK (2) is backing up quickly from his effort at Bendigo on Friday afternoon but he is working back into his best form and finished solidly for second behind Dellsun on December 17 so he is worth an investment. She has been placed in five of her past six starts and is expected to give another forward showing. AUNTY ETHAL (5) was returning from South Australia when she bounced to the front and gave a great sight for a close second at Melton. OVERVIEW: OUR SAFARI SUN ( 8) continues to race in great form and chased hard for third behind La Serena and Normandy Belle in a stronger race at Ballarat last time so he should prove very hard to beat here.
